When you pass coursework and your elective project and you have  met all specifications for the course,  you will receive a certificate of completion which you can display on LinkedIn and for your professional portfolios to get further recognition from your employer and the field.

Program Mode

This program will utilize Cohort-Based Learning, where the learners will engage in a dynamic, collaborative learning environment. A blend of Synchronous and Asynchronous Models will be used, with synchronous (Live) sessions incorporating interactive leadership labs, case-based discussions, and mentorship sessions. In the asynchronous (Self-Paced) modules, learners will learn through pre-recorded lessons, readings, and reflective exercises.

Our Teaching Approach 

This program will use various teaching methods to enhance critical thinking skills for tackling real-world challenges. Case-Based Learning will enable learners to analyze real leadership scenarios and apply theory in practice. Leadership Labs offer hands-on workshops for developing key leadership skills in simulated environments. Faculty Mentorship provides one-on-one guidance from experienced leaders to support your leadership journey. Peer Learning allows participants to collaborate, sharing insights and feedback, which fosters deep learning through mutual exchange.

Duration: 10 weeks

Phase 1

Foundation- Leadership Fundamentals

Objective: Lay a robust theoretical and practical foundation for visionary leadership.

Format: Live lectures, case studies, group discussions, faculty-led seminars, and leadership labs.

Duration: 9 weeks

In this stage, participants will dive into the core theories and frameworks of leadership, enhanced by real-world case studies. An emphasize of critical thinking will be used, so the program will challenge participants to explore leadership from multiple perspectives. 

Interactive Elements:

Case Study Method: Participants analyze and debate real-life leadership cases from different sectors.

Leadership Labs: Hands-on workshops where participants simulate leadership scenarios.

The Mentor Lab: Individual mentoring sessions with faculty to discuss progress and leadership challenges.

Phase 2

Elective Project: Real-World Leadership Application

Objective: Practical application of leadership principles to an elective project that aligns with personal goals or industry challenges.

Format: Asynchronous project work, peer feedback groups, faculty mentorship.

Duration: 5 weeks

Participants choose a specific leadership project related to their professional context or community. The program will encourage hands-on, experiential learning, allowing participants to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world situations. Projects could range from implementing change in an organization to designing a social impact initiative.

Elective Project Options:

Vision in Action: Develop and implement a new strategic initiative or change project in your workplace or industry.

Mentorship & Leadership Development: Design and lead a mentorship program, applying leadership theories to cultivate future leaders.

Creating a Legacy: Plan and execute a community-based project focused on long-term impact and social change.
Interactive Elements:

Peer Feedback Sessions: Participants present project milestones to their cohort for feedback and collaboration.

Mentorship Check-ins: Faculty or external mentors provide ongoing guidance throughout the project.

Stage 3

Program Capstone - Strategic Leadership & Legacy

Objective: Synthesize program learning into a capstone project that demonstrates advanced leadership skills and strategic vision.

Format
: Live presentations, peer review, faculty evaluations, and public leadership forums.

Duration
: 4 weeks

Participants will design and present a final Capstone Project that demonstrates their ability to lead with vision and impact. This project will be the culmination of everything learned, reflecting strategic thinking, relationship-building, and influence.  A strong emphasis will be placed on presentation and communication skills, so participants will defend their project in front of faculty and peers.

Capstone Project Options

Strategic Leadership Plan: Develop a comprehensive leadership strategy for a major initiative or transformation within your organization.

Legacy Leadership Initiative: Create a lasting social impact project that reflects your personal leadership vision.

Executive Leadership Presentation: A high-level presentation to demonstrate your growth as a leader, including key lessons from the program.
